Letha Tolleson, 93, of Kirby, died Friday, October 19, 1999.
She was born on October 29, 1906 at Athens, Texas, the daughter of Bethel Gurnsey and Annie Laura Fulton Gurnsey. She was married to Roy Martin Tolleson who preceded her in death on June 10, 1988.
She was a member of the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Sonny Tolleson, Joyce Tolleson and Alton Tolleson, all of Kirby; one daughter, Maurice Golden of Kirby; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Joey Gurnsey of San Fransisco, California and Johnny Gurnsey of Bearden; and one sister, Faye of Chidester.
Interment was in the Salem Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home of Glenwood.
