Pam was 77 at the time of her death and passed away peacefully in her family home on Friday, August 15, 2003. She served in the US Army Air Corps in a medical evacuation unit during the Korean War and was honored at the "Women in Military Service for America" Memorial in Arlington National Cemetery, VA. Pam was and active member of the Dayton Community as a member of the Dayton Women's Club, the Sycamore Creek Country Club and the founder of the famous "Lunch Bunch". Pam was also an avid bridge player and loved visiting New York City. Born in Lynn MA, she was the daughter of the late George L (b approx. 1901)and Winifred A Guptill. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Paul G. and Robert A "Bobby". At the time of her death she was survived by her husband Thomas H Blalock, her five Children and their spouses, Andrea "Andi" Altvater (Bill), Thomas "Tommy" Blalock (Deb), Barry Blalock (Angela), Jenny Blalock-Black (Jean Luc) and Jamie Blalock (Kara). In addition to her husband and children she was also survived by 11 Grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends. A service was conducted at the Church of Incarnation in Centerville. Pam had requested to be cremated. Donations were made in the name of the Ronald McDonald House charities of Dayton.
