WORCESTER - Joyce A. (Gunn) Gilfoy, 75, formerly of Orange, died on June 7, 2014 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester.

Born on Nov. 19, 1938 in Athol, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Eva (Beckwith) Gunn and grew up in Orange.

Joyce was a member of the class of 1957, the last class at Orange High School.

She was married to James H. Gilfoy on June 20, 1959, and they enjoyed their 55 years together.

Employed by the Brown Shoe Company in Worcester for over 20 years, Joyce later went to work for Farber's in Brockton for 16 years before retiring.

Joyce enjoyed crocheting, knitting, going to the casinos and spending time with her nephews and nieces.

Survivors include her beloved husband, James Gilfoy of Worcester; a sister, Delores Atherton of Gardner; a brother, Richard Gunn of Rockville, Conn., and several nephews and nieces.

Besides her parents, Joyce was predeceased by a brother, Frank Gunn.

There are no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held at a later date and time in South Cemetery, Orange.
