Debra Denbow 79, of Patterson Twp., went to home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at North Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born July 7, 1934, in Fairmont, WV, and was the daughter of the late John and Opal Oliver Gump. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry and Everett Franklin, and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Cardimen.
Debra attended Waynesburg College, The Julliard School of Music and had a singing career that spanned over five decades. Later in life she became a nurse and caregiver, specializing in Alzheimer's and Parkinson care.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Earl Denbow; her children, Sally, Francisco (Diana), Debra, Rafael (Jana), Tony, and Nicholas; her stepdaughter, Keri (Joe); her brother, John (Phyllis) Gump; 19 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Ronald (Lisa) Denbow and David Cardimen.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., www.gabauer luttonfuneralhome.com, where services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Lee Bittner will officiate.
Interment will follow in Beaver Falls Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at North Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care given to Debra. The family is grateful for their hard work and compassion shown to all the patients who reside there.
