Member of the University of Rhode Island class of 1966 - he earned a Bachelor of Science in business. He then went on to law school and graduated in 1969 from Suffolk Law School, Boston.
Tony was admitted to the Rhode Island Bar in 1969 and the Maine Bar in 1974. Tony served in the U.S. Army JAGC from 1970 to 1974. Upon moving to Ellsworth in 1974, Tony opened his law practice.
Survived by his wife; a sister, Norma G. Fisher; stepmother, Theresa Giunta; mother-in-law, Marjorie Prenda; sister-in-law, Evelyn Shaver and family; and brother-in-law, David Prenda and family, all of RI.
