GOLDIE MARIE DICKARD GUESS

Mrs. Goldie Marie Guess, 68, of Rogers, died July 2, 1975, at her home. Born November 15, 1906, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Eddie and Nancy Shrum Dickard, a member of the Pentecostal Church and moved to Rogers in 1965.

Survivors include three sons, Clarence, Mt. Vernon, MO, Charles, Cave Springs, and Leon Guess, Bentonville; five daughters, Mrs. Florence Miller, Huntsville, Mrs. Viola Foster, Mrs. Irene Johnson, Mrs. Florence Bell Johnson all of Rogers, and Mrs. Lucile Stepp, Elm Springs; two brothers; Franklin Dickard, Huntsville, and Jess Dickard, Springdale; one sister, Mrs. Lona Rhodes, Joplin, MO; 48 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, July 8 at 10:30 a.m. in Gospel Lighthouse Church, Springdale, with the Rev. James Hathorn and the Rev. George Hardbarger officiating. Burial was in Liberty Cemetery, Carroll County, under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Rogers.
