Elizabeth Grubb was born in Rockingham Co VA in 1812. She was the daughter of Daniel Grubb & Anna Maria Armentrout Grubb. She moved with her family to Knox Co OH and married William Adams there in 1831 when he moved from Bedford Co PA to Knox Co OH. She was his second wife. Elizabeth Adams died a few days after the birth of her last child, Israel P. Adams in 1844 in Knox Co.
