NAMPA — Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Viola Grover, 85, 715 Diamond St., who died Sunday afternoon at a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Jerald D. Johnson, pastor of College Church of the Nazarene.

Interment will follow at Cloverdale Memorial Park near Boise.

Mrs. Grover was born Jan. 28, 1887 near Lincoln, Nebr. and at the age of 5 moved to Smith Center, Kan. She married the Rev. Theodore D. Grover Dec. 28, 1910 at Smith Center, Kan. During his ministry, they lived in Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa, before moving to Boise in 1936. They moved to Nampa in 1957. The Rev. Mr. Grover preceded her in death on May 30, 1968. She was a member of the College Church of the Nazarene, Nampa.

She is survived by two sons, J. Harold Grover, Portland, Ore., and the Rev. Virgil Grover, Tacoma, Wash; two daughters, Mrs. Wade (Mildred) Stearns, Nampa, and Mrs. Ramon (Ardeth) Vanderpool, Kent, Wash.; one brother, Archie Tilton, Smith Center, Kan., and by 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters.

Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today until 9:00 p.m., and on Tuesday until 12:30 p.m.
