Mildred Regina Gebhart, 94, entered into God's eternal care Monday morning, Dec. 20, 2004, at her home with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Raymond E. Gebhart, Sr., who died in 1983. Born June 12, 1910, in McSherrystown, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary (Strausbaugh) Groft. Mrs. Gebhart was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Bonneauville, the Altar Rosary Society, the National Council of Catholic Women, and a member of the Ladies Garment Union. Mrs. Gebhart retired from the Bonneauville Garment Company after 30 years of service. Mildred is survived by two daughters, Sister Mary E. Gebhart, S.S.J. of Harrisburg and Irene C. Pfaff of Bonneauville; three sons, Raymond E. Jr., James L., and Thomas P. Gebhart, all of Bonneauville; 30 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Francis Joseph Gebhart; one brother, Francis Groft; and one sister, Evelyn Chrismer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 10 E. Hanover St., Bonneauville, with Father Philip DeChico as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph the Worker Church Cemetery, Bonneauville. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Serving as casket bearers will be: Jeffrey Pfaff, Lawrence Pfaff, Patrick Gebhart, Andrew Gebhart, Kevin Gebhart, Steven Gebhart, Daniel Gebhart, and Philip Gebhart. If you wish to make memorial contributions in Mildred's name the family suggest they be made to St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 10 E.
