Marjorie Welling Groesbeck died unexpectedly on January 2, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah after a long, productive life.

She was born August 21, 1912 in Farmington, Utah to George Albert, Sr. and Judith Oviatt Welling.

She married Jack Clinton Groesbeck on September 6, 1946 in the Salt lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1984.

She was an active, lifelong member of the LDS Church and served in many church positions, also serving a mission in Birmingham, England from 1986-1987.

She was short in physical stature but a giant in character, integrity, and honesty.

Survived by daughter, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Galbraith, Palo Alto, California; son, Dave (Susan), Provo; ten grandchildren; and sisters, Mrs. Golden (Leah) Kimball, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Vaughn (Marie) Wonnacott, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Phyll (Leila) Horne, Orem.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 1998 at 12:00 p.m. in the Canyon Road Ward Chapel, 135 North A Street. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, on Tuesday, January 6, 1998 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the services at the church on Wednesday from 10:45-11:45 a.m.
