Harriet Groch, 87, a lifelong resident of Toledo, passed away November 5, 2007, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on March 8, 1920, to Thaddeus and Jessie (Klavewski) Klebanski. Harriet was a Woodward High School graduate and worked for Auto Lite, Buckeye Furniture and Erickson's Furniture. She enjoyed dancing, playing bingo and card games. After retirement, she was a member and loved her days at the Margaret Hunt Senior Center. Harriet was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Groch, whom she had a wonderful marriage with for 41 years. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving sons, Richard (Nancy) Groch of St. Clair, MI and David (Donna) Groch of Holland, OH; grandchildren, Julie (Dr. John) Aucar, Douglas Groch, Brian Groch, Debra Kruse and Dr. Nicholas Groch; great-grand-children, Erin, Adam, Chloe, Kelsey, Carter, Dawson, Owen, Samantha, David, Skyelar, Ronin and Raina; and dear friend, Ruth Wiese. Family and friends may visit at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 9, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, especially nurses, Beth and Vicky and aide, LaKesha for all their compassionate care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
