Bobby Dean Grissom of Mitchell, IN, died Sunday, August 29, 1999, at his residence. Born on October 14, 1936, in Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of Opal and Inice (Johnson) Grissom.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan Thomas of Robbins Air Force Base in Georgia and Regina Alden of Elkhart, IN; one step-son, Lee Freed of Mitchell, IN; three sisters: a twin, Wanda Stevens, and Catherine Pridemore, both of Mitchell, IN, and Ruth Roberts of Pinellas Park, FL; one brother, Lloyd Grissom of Orleans, IN; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Loretta Grissom, Pauline Hardin, and Elsie Leatherman; and four brothers, Opal Jr., Car James, and Herbert Grissom.

He had been employed at Regal Beloit and at Jack's Lounge. He was a 1955 graduate of Mitchell High School. He attended the Church of God.

There will be a graveside service for Bobby Grissom at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 31st, at Mitchell Cemetery with Bro. Mike Williams officiating.
