Mary Grigsby was born November 27, 1852
near Shelbyville, in Lincoln county,
Kentucky. Here she grew to womanhood
and was married to Mr. Baughman. To
this union was born one little girl who
died in infancy. After the death of Mr.
Baughman, Mrs. Baughman lived in
Stanford, Kentucky for a number of years.
in the fall of 1911 she came to Atchison,
Kansas and was united in marriage to Mr.
Edward Bryant.
She became a member of the Christian
Church at a young age, and passed through
many trials and tribulations.
Mrs. Bryant passed away at 5:30 a.m. on
Saturday morning, July 30, 1927.
Funeral services were held at the home,
Monday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.
Burial was in Willow Hill Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
