Rita Ann Gregory Gaskill, 58, of rural Lafayette, died at 9:20 AM Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002, in Lafayette Home Hospital. Born Aug. 29, 1944, in Lafayette, she attended Jefferson High School. She married Joseph C. Gaskill on Nov. 29, 1985, and he survives.
Mrs. Gaskill moved to the area near Decatur, IL, and Vandalia, IL, in 1961, returning to Lafayette in 1981. She worked in food services at Purdue University. She also worked at Decker's and the camera department at Osco Drug. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and the Moose Lodge, both in Lafayette.
Surviving with her husband are one son, Richard K. Nalley (wife Kris) of Vandalia, IL; one brother, Leon Wood (wife Mariah) of Phoenix, AZ; and two grandsons. Preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
