Mr. Gregory was born in Shelby County, son of Edward M. and Nellie E. Gregory. He was a retired A.B.F. truck driver, a member of Little Flock Baptist Church, Decatur Elks Club, Moweaqua Masonic Lodge and Silver Jubilee Retirees Club, Cape Girardeau, Mo. He married Lela Weakly in 1932.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Jim of Jackson, Mo.; Tom of Bethany; daughters, Mrs. Dean (Joann) Markwell of Decatur; Mr. F. L. (Pat) Anderson of Rantoul; brother, Wayne of Moweaqua; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
