C Ward Gregory, 73, of Horton's Lane, Southold, died April 30, 1976 at the Eastern Long Island Hospital, Greenport. He was born on March 3, 1903 in Wautoma, Wisconsin, the son of Mae Stout and Charles E Gregory. Mr Gregory was a retired executive after 40 years in the bakery division of the A & P. He was a member of the North Fork Audubon Society, the American Society of Bakery Engineers and the Nature Conservancy.
Surviving are his wife, Norma Nicholson Gregory; a sister, Marian G Loesges, and a brother-in-law, Robert E Loesges.
Services were held May 3 at the DeFriest Funeral Home, Inc, Southold, with Reverend Alexander Sime officiating. Interment was in the Southold Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, 265 Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY
