Norma Jean Denny Greer of West Jefferson died on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Greer was born on June 20, 1946 in Ashe County to the late Dwight and Virginia Hartsoe Denny.
She was also preceded in death by an infant brother.
Mrs. Greer is survived by her husband, Carter Greer of West Jefferson; a daughter, Debby Roark and husband Ivan of Ronda; a son, Charles South and wife Brandy of Lenoir; a sister, JoAnn Murry of Sparta; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.
Entombment will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum of Prayer.
