Nannie Lue Bishop, 96, died April 24, 2002, at the Miner Nursing Center.
Born Nov. 17, 1905, in Blue Springs, MS, daughter of the late William and Mattie Miller Greenwood, she was a member of the Foster Grandparents Program and worked at the Kenny Rogers Children's Center for many years.
In 1938, at Cardwell, she married Frank Bishop who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerry and Sharon Bishop and Calvin C. Campbell; one sister, Byrdia Martin; four grandchildren, Bill Campbell, Charlotte Fields, Shawn Hanna and Susan Bishop; and four great-grandchildren.
Five brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
Services were conducted Saturday at the Forest Grove Baptist Church in Cardwell with the Rev. Kenneth Hargrave officiating.
Burial followed in the Cardwell Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Jessie Williams, Gene Vaughn, Eulas Vaughn, James Bishop, Jerry Highfill and Billy Gene Monk.
