Rita M. Greene, 88, of Milford, CT. and formerly of Westport, CT and wife of the late Arthur C. Greene died peacefully Friday, July 29, 2011 at Milford Hospital. Mrs. Greene was born January 17, 1923 in Albion, RI. daughter of the late Wilfred and Anne (Champagne) Duquette and has been a resident of Milford for the past seven years. Prior to moving to Milford in 2004 Mrs. Greene had resided in Westport for 57 years. She is a former parishioner of Assumption Church, the Children of Mary and the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Assumption. Survivors include two sons, Robert Carl Greene Sr. and his wife Carol of Huntersville, NC. and Mark Thomas Greene of Milford, CT; three sisters, Edna Decker and Claire Faucher both of Westport, Jacqueline Goodrow of Brookfield, CT, three brothers, Gerald Duquette of Westport, CT. Carl Duquette of Bradenton, FL, and Louis Duquette of Old Saybrook, CT; three grandchildren, Martha Ekroth, Lisa Brown, and Robert Carl Greene Jr.; and five great grandchildren, Amber Ekroth, Jacob Ekroth, Ashley Brown, Charlotte Brown and Dylan Brown. Mrs. Greene was also predeceased by two sisters, Marion Hall and Marguerite Ference.
