FORMER QUINCY WOMAN IS DEAD.
Mrs. E. A. Allen, Daughter
of Late Amos Green,
Passed Away in Chicago.
The death of Mrs. Edmund A. Allen occurred at her home in Chicago yesterday morning at 9 o'clock. She was a daughter of the late Amos Green, formerly of this city and who for many years was the general manager of the Quincy Route. Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband and one son, Amos Green Allen and also one brother, Major George Green, of Chicago and a sister, Mrs. D. A. Kelsey, who has been with her in her last illness. Mrs. Ella Mills, of this city, is a half sister of the deceased. While no definite information has been received here with reference to the burial it is thought that the body will be taken to Joliet for interment in the family lot in one of the cemeteries of that city.
