SERVICES FOR FORMER RESIDENT
Services for Mrs. Bernard Greeley, 37, formerly of Chariton, were held Sunday, Oct. 15, at the Dunn Southside Funeral Home in Des Moines. Interment was in the Oxford cemetery near Chariton.
Mrs. Greeley died of cancer Oct. 12, at Broadlawns hospital. She had been ill for three months.
She was born at Lucas and had lived in Des Moines for the past 15 years. She was a member of the University Christian church.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mary Ellen and Rose Mary, and a son, James, at home. Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Clark of Chariton, a sister, Mrs. Wayne Sheldon of Iowa City, and her grandmother, Mrs. Estella Rouse, of Lucas.
