Leota G. Gray, 81, Clearview City, KS, passed away November 25, 1998, at Delmar Gardens of Overland Park. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 28, at Amos Family Chapel of Lenexa, 10113 Lenexa Dr.; burial in Silent City Cemetery, DeSoto, KS. Family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Friday at the chapel.

Leota was a descendent of Daniel Boone, and was a member of the DeSoto United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Melvin R. Gray, in 1992. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Alber & her husband, Don, OPKS; granddaughters, Christine Allan, Charlotte, NC, & Tracy Mattis, Lenexa, KS; & three greatgranddaughters.
