Betty formerly was employed at the Murry Hill Hotel in Westfield as a cook and waitress and also was employed at the Westfield Department Store.
She was a veteran of WWII serving in the Women's Army Corp.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Harvey, Robert, Earl, Rece and Bill McDonald.
Betty is survived by her husband of 60 years, Fredrick B. Gray. Sisters Mary Cimminisi Staebler of Ann Arbor, Mich., Stella Tripp of Corry and Anabelle Leamer of Crossville, Tenn. and several nieces and nephews.
