---Mrs. Ellen Graham passed away at Macon Tuesday morning after a short illness. The remains were brought here yesterday and funeral services were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Beall, conducted by Rev. Cleve Hardgrove. Burial was made in the La Plata cemetery by the side of her husband.
---Ellen Jane Moncrief was born seventy years ago in Sardinia, Indiana and at the age of eighteen years she was married to Luther Graham. To this union were born nine children, six boys and three girls, one girl and one boy having already passed through the Great Beyond in their youth. Her husband died three years ago.
---She leaves one brother, John Moncrief of Fort Madison, Iowa and one sister, Mrs. Nancy D. Stribling of Kirksville, her children, Frank, James, John, Ellis, Perry, Mrs. John Beall and Mrs. John Wise and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her departure.
---At an early age she united with the Baptist Church in Iowa and moved her membership to Wilsontown, then to La Plata where she was a member at the time of her death.
