EVERETT NEWS - 18 April 1938:

Mrs. Priscilla L. (McKenney) Gowen died in her home following a brief illness. She had spent the winter at St. Petersburgh in Florida with her daughter, Mrs. Aggie Lamson, and returned to Everett about ten days ago.
Her last illness was sudden and she passed away peacefully.
Widow of Charles M. Gowen.
Mrs. Gowen spent her early years in Maine
and came to Everett 54 years ago.
She was one of the best known women in the city. She was a charter member of the Glendale Chapter Order of Eastern Star; and
at one time was active in the Friday Club.
Of late years she has been a member of the First Universalist Church.
Interment in Glenwood Cemetery.
