The grim hand of death has again reached over the portals of the home of Mr Robert Govers and Sunday morning by its touch took from out that family circle a dutiful son and loved brother.
Joe, as he was known, a bright and intelligent youth whose whole ambition seemed to be to help his brothers and sisters.
He was for several months past the faithful clerk of Mr C M Sturcke on Main street. He had been ill for about a month.
Funeral took place Monday from the Church of the Blessed Sacrament and the interment was in the Catholic Cemetery
