SOLOMON, Ella Mae Goosby, passed away the morning of Thursday, August 26, 2004. Homegoing services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2004, at Hood Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 3806 N. 26th St. Pastor George N. Bolden Jr., will be officiating and Mrs. Solomon's adopted grandson, Malcolm Finkley of Dallas, Texas, will deliver the eulogy. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Survivors are a son, Richard Solomon and fiancee, Marilyn Felder; a daughter, Patricia Solomon; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. The remains will repose 5-8 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2004, at Aikens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. at the chapel. The funeral cortege will arrange from the funeral home at 10:45 a.m. Saturday.AIKENS FUNERAL HOME.
