She was born March 22, 1937, in Ashley County, a daughter of the late Vasco Goodwin and Lila Mae Bonds Goodwin.
She was retired counselor for the Warren Public School System. She was a member of First Baptist Church at Warren.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest Gibbs Jr., whom she married April 12, 1957; two sons, Ernest Gibbs III of Port Neches, Texas, and Andy Gibbs of Plano, Texas; a brother, Van Goodwin of Russellville; five sisters, Myrna Daniel and Sheila Young, both of Monticello, Linda PInkus of Dermott and Monell Rice and Marcia Zeno, both of Little Rock; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Frazer's Funeral Home at Warren with the Rev. Greg Stanley officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at Warren.
Memorials may be made the First Baptist Church at Warren.
