Born in Keene, N.H., a daughter of the late Windsor and Anna (Putnam) Goodnow, she lived in East Greenwich for several years. She previously lived in Woonsocket.
Mrs. Blackall was a member of the Arnold's Mills Methodist Church, Arnold's Mills, Cumberland, and the Woonsocket Hospital Aid Association.
She leaves three sons, Chandler B. Gardiner Jr. of Alexandria, Va., Wesley M. Gardiner of Palo Alto, Calif., and George P. Gardiner of North Kingstown; a stepson, F. Steele Blackall III of Providence; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Kenneth G. Wheeler of Cumberland; a sister, Mrs. Priscilla G. Bach of Keene; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the East Greenwich United Methodist Church, Main Street. Burial will be private.
