"RICHFIELD SPRINGS - The death of Mrs. Mattie Louise McRorie Brown occurred November 23d, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Adelbert Sponable, on the west side of Canadarago Lake. Mrs. Brown was the daughter of George and Clarinda Goodman and was born in Springfield, October 5, 1858, and nearly all her life has been spent in this vicinity. Her first husband, Alfred McRorie, died in 1903 and later she married Melvin Brown. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Sponable, and a son, Kenneth W. McRorie of Fly Creek, a step-daughter, Mrs. Norman Sheridan of this village, and a sister, Mrs. Dora E. Griggs, of Fort Smith, Ark. The funeral was held at her late home Wednesday afternoon, the Rev.
