Kenneth Ray Goode, Athens, died Wednesday at his residence.


The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Spry Chapel in Athens. Burial was in Dement Cemetery.


Mr. Goode was an Army veteran of World War II.


Survivors include his wife, Etta Goode of Athens; one daughter, Dixie Kay Ogletree of Athens; one stepson, Larry Blankenship of New Jersey; two stepdaughters, Judith Thomas and Barbra Ann Smith, both of Athens; seven brothers, William Goode, Jerry Goode, Grady Goode, Leo Goode, Calvin Goode and Frank Goode, all of Athens, and Robert Goode of Nashville; six sisters, Elizabeth Owen and Louise Rush, both of Michigan, and Helen King, Geraldine Butler, Cleo Rouse and Erma Evans, all of Athens; and six grandchildren.
