Lorine Almeria "Mickey" Gonser, 85, of Paragould, Arkansas, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Belle Meade Healthcare in Paragould.

She was born February 9, 1929, in Paragould, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Ray and Hazel Davis Carter.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Gonser and sister Jo An Rogers.

Mickey was retired from A.C. Spark Plugs, a division of GM, in Michigan and a member of Center Hill Church of Christ. She loved to quilt, bake homemade rolls for friends as gifts of celebration or sympathy, entering homemade items in the fair, gardening and flowers, and reading her bible every night. Mickey was a member of the Arkansas Homemakers Extension Council.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Deborah Gonser-Adams and Allen of Grand Blanc, MI, Lisa and Dean Kusluski of Holly, MI, Marta and Daniel Summitt of Paragould; sons: Carter and Sue Gonser of Lapeer, MI, Kerry and Kathy Gonser of Grand Blanc, MI; sisters: Dorothy Campbell of Cicero, IN, Shirley Lamb of Cabot, AR; brothers: Phil Carter, Tim Carter both of Rector; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Her life was celebrated at Center Hill Church of Christ. Burial was at Pine Knot Cemetery.
