Mabel is survived by her husband, Pete Gómez, one son, Pete Gómez Jr., five daughters, Toni Treloar and her husband, Joseph, Theresa Williams and her husband, Steve, JoAnn Trujillo and her husband, Dennis, Elsie Montoya and her husband, Billy and Debra Gómez and her fiancé, Phillip Ortega, two brothers, William Benavídez and Alfred Benavídez, three sisters, Viola Maestas and her husband, James, Ruby Orozco and her husband, Adrian and Lucille Montoya, one sister-in-law, Patsy Gómez and 15 grandchildren.
Memorial services for Mabel will be held on Saturday at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. A Memorial Rosary will be recited on Friday evening, 7:00 p.m. at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW. Burial will be at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
