Lucille was born on January 8, 1927 in St. Joseph, MO, the daughter of August and Alice (Edwards) Goerke. She was married to John P. Cordon, who preceded her in death December 26, 1967. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Cordon, in July 1990 and her brother-in-law, Clifford Ashby. Lucille was a member of the West Haven Baptist Church, Tonganoxie, and the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Lux, Tonganoxie, KS and Beverly DeDecker, Waynesboro, VA; one sister, Frances Ashby, Hutchison, KS; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
