MARION - Mrs. Levi Gibson, 85, and one of Marion's oldest and most beloved citizens died at her home here late this afternoon. Mrs. Gibson had been in ill health for more than a year but was able to see her friends and relatives up until about two months ago when her condition became very critical and little hope had been held for her the past few weeks.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lewis Miles of this city and Mrs. Lulu G. Husband of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by several grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed early tonight but it is thought that they will be held tomorrow afternoon at Rosehill Cemetery.
