Leta Byrd Boardman of Terrace Park, OH beloved wife of the late Sheffield Boardman, dear mother of Sheffield, Jr. of Carbondale IL, and Max Boardman of Akron, OH, loving sister of Virginia Staples and the late Mary Jane Flueger, also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter died August 4, 1989 at age 75 in Carbondale, IL after a long illness.
Leta had been active in the Junior league, various charitable organizations and the Terrace Park Country Club.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 12 at 2 PM at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Terrace Park.
