Gleam Coats, 93, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in Grove, Oklahoma. She was born on July 30, 1922 to Bill and Hattie Glenn in Blackwell, Oklahoma.
Gleam was the owner and operator of Gleam's Beauty Shop in Pryor and Langley. She loved gardening, flowers and the outdoors. Her passion in life was to paint oil and acrylic paintings. She has painted a lot of beautiful memorable pictures throughout her life. She was a longtime member of Disney Assembly of God.
Gleam is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Henry Lee Coats and daughter, Sharon Yvonne Julius. She is survived by her son, Ron Coats, four grandchildren, Karen Louise Pugsley, Ronnel Leon Coats, Danniel Lee Coats and Blake Julius, seven great-grandchildren, Ronnel Lucas Coats, Logen Lee Coats, Clara Pugsley, Olivia Pugsley, Elizabeth Coats, Santana Key and Madison Key and numerous other family and friends.
Gleam's funeral service will be held on Friday, 11:00 a.m. December 4, 2015 at Disney Assembly of God Church, 313 E. Wall Street, Disney, Oklahoma with Rev. Daryl Lee officiating. Burial will be held at Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery, Spavinaw, Oklahoma.
