Graveside funeral services will be held at Magnolia Park Cemetery on Wednesday, February 9th, 2011 with Rev. Phil Bryant officiating.
Lureea was born to the late Mr. Alexander and Victoria (Winn) Ginn on October 30th, 1921 in Wilkes County, GA. Mrs. Blackmon was preceded in death by her husband Frank W. Blackmon in 1999, Great Grand-daughter Samantha Cail 1998 and Grand-daughter Sherri Black in 1996. She was of the Baptist faith, homemaker and former nurse at Hallmark Nursing Home.
She is survived by two sons, Ted (Gail) Blackmon and Joe (Teresa) Blackmon both of Warner Robins, GA; Grand-son Bryan (Maria) Blackmon, Great Grand-children Sarah, Andrew and Isabella all of Marietta, GA; Grand-daughter Tori (Kenny) Cail, Great Grand-children Sabryna and Staley of Warner Robins, GA; Grand-daughter Nicki (Gary) Walker, Great Grand-children Alana and John of Pembroke, GA; Grand-daughter Victoria (Jeff) Pendley, Great Grand-children Jeffrey and Jourdan of Daphne, AL; Grand-daughter Stephanie Blackmon, Great Grand-son Tony of Macon, GA; Grand-daughter Melissa (JW) Hilliard, Great Grand-children Caedmon and Zechariah of Raleigh, NC.
