John Ira Ginn, 81, of Statesboro, died Sunday night at Bulloch Memorial hospital after a long illness. The native of Jenkins County had lived in Bulloch County for many years and was retired from business in Miami, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Jones Ginn, Statesboro; three sons, John E. Ginn, Miami, Fla., Felton Ginn, Ft. Meyers, Fla. and Wayron Ginn, Sulphur Springs, Ark.; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Mr. Ginn will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the chapel of Morrison Funeral Home in Pembroke with burial in the Lawrence Baptist Church. Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
