Irene M. Gilhooley, a lifelong resident of Toledo, passed away Friday, July 23, 2004, at the Sunset House. Preceding her in death was her niece, Sarah Conklin Malone. She was born to Frank and May Gilhooley on September 25, 1918. Irene was a graduate of St. Ursula Academy and worked for many years at the former McManuss-Troup Company.
Surviving his her sister, Mary Frances Conklin; brother, Frank (Lydia) Gilhooley; nieces and nephews, Suzanne (Michael) Schlee, Mary Ann (Skip) Bergman, Coleen (Fred) Conrad, Bill (Chris) Conklin, Laura (Joe) Paratore, Michael (Heidi) Conklin, Tim (Brenda) Conklin and Mark Conklin.
The family invites you to join them to celebrate the Mass of The Resurrection 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Ursuline Convent, 4025 Indian Road. Interment will be private. Any tributes may be made in the form of contributions to the Ursuline Convent of the Sacred Heart.
