Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Cathedral, where he was a member.
Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Harveson and Cole Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Gibbons was born in Shawnee, Okla., and lived in Fort Worth for 75 years. He was a graduate of St. Ignatius and Laneri High School and attended Texas Christian University.
Mr. Gibbons worked as a conductor for the Pullman Co. until 1958 and then joined Provident Life and Accident Insurance Co. as a salesman.
He retired in 1977.
His wife, Wilma Gibbons, died in 1977.
Survivors: Son, Michael Thomas Gibbons of Burleson; sister, Genita Eury of Dallas; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
