Mrs. Ruth E Burkhart, 79, 2141 Rudy Rd. Harrisburg, died Monday at her home.
She was a graduate of West Chester State Teachers College, Class of 1918, a former school teacher in Adams County, a retired employee of Harrisburg State Hospital and was a member of Bendersville Lutheran Church.
Surviving are several cousins.
Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 at the funeral home at 2001 Market St., Harrisburg, Rev. Gerald J Stutzman, will officiate. Burial will be in Flohr’s Cemetery, McKnightstown.
