Ida Aschliman, 90, a resident of Christian Care Retirement Community, died at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.
Born in Adams County July 5, 1915 to Emmanuel and Anna Neuenschwander Gerber, she married Roy E. Aschliman in Wells County Jan. 7, 1945. He preceded her in death July 9, 2002.
A housewife, she was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.
Survivors include sons David and Ralph Aschliman, both of Bluffton; daughters Mrs. Steve (Arlene) Stump and Mrs. Stan (Delilah) Biberstein, both of Decatur; 20 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Twelve siblings preceded her in death.
Services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday will be at the Apostolic Christian Church East with calling one hour prior to services. Ministers of the church will officiate and burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling will also be held until 8 p.m. this evening at Goodwin Memorial Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Christian Care Retirement Community.
