Mrs. Annie Newton Genter died Thursday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Philip Moore, Cherry Valley. Until two weeks ago, she had lived with another daughter, Mrs. Herman Thomas, Hartwick. Funeral was held at the Maxwell Funeral home Sunday at 2 p. m. The Rev. Robert Fletcher, pastor of the Methodist church officiated. Burial was in the Mt. Vision cemetery. Mrs. Center was born in Albany, January 14, 1864, daughter of Thomas and Mary (Sisum) Newton. She was married to Seymour Genter, who died in 1922. Surviving are, four sons, Elmer, Hartwick ; Newton, Albany; Albert and Mrs. Philip Moor, Cherry Valley and Vaughn, Schenectady; two daughters, Mrs. Herman Thomas, Hartwick; fifteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
