Lifelong Mequon resident Anita Gengler passed away at Luther Manor at River Oaks in Mequon on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at the age of 92. She was born in Mequon on September 28, 1924, the daughter of David and Anna (nee Glaess) Frank. Anita married Kenneth “Ken” Gengler on February 2, 1946 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mequon. She is survived by her children: Carol Gengler of Thiensville and Gary (Carolyn) Gengler of Cedarburg, grandchildren: Chad (Monica) Gengler and Shawn (Michele) Gengler, great-grandchildren: Trinity, Sadie, Evan, Ethan, Noah and Ashley. Anita was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandson: Dustin Gengler and brother: Edgar Frank. Also survived by other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday April 29, 2017 at Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church, 247 S. Main St, Thiensville, WI 53092. Pastor Don Scheurlein officiating. Burial to follow at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg, WI. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Church on Saturday April 29, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
