Shirley Ann Doxsey, age 69 of Morris, In. formerly of Cincinnati, OH died Monday, February 18, 2013 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville, IN. Born May 13, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH she was the daughter of Nicholas & Elizabeth (Lauer) Gengler. The graduate of Seaton High School married Richard Fox and he preceded her in death in 1991. She then married Mike Doxsey on November 16, 1996 and he survives.

Shirley retired from Woolworth but also worked at Krogers & Pamida. Her family said she loved to cook and was a wonderful homemaker. She liked to watch television & movies and new almost all of the stars. Shirley saw Elvis twice, including his last concert in Cincinnati. She loved to read, knit, dance & play cards. They said she was a hard working woman.

Shirley is survived by her husband Mike Doxsey, her daughter Diana (Carl) Marino of Atlanta, GA & her son Nick Fox of Cincinnati, OH. She will also be missed by her grandson Anthony Marino. In addition to her parents & first husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Ed Lamping.
