Geneva was first married to John Gerald 'Dick' Harrell. They had three daughter's: Barbara Jean, Janet Marlene, and Florence Lorene.

Geneva next married Russell D. Brane. They had three children: Grace, David L. and John A.

Russell Brane was previously married and they had three children: Paul H., Claude and John R.

Ill six months, Geneva Brane, 69, 605 State Street, died at Miller's Merry Manor East at 1:40 p.m. Saturday.
She was born August 11, 1916, in Wabash to Foster and Florence (Hart) Gatchel, Sr. The father is deceased. The mother survives at 791 Congress Street.
She was a lifelong Wabash resident and a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church.
She was married May 12, 1956, in Yuma, Arizona, to Russell Brane, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, John A. Brane, R. R. 3; and David L. Brane, 1175 Hawthorne Drive; four daughters, Mrs. Barbara Saltmarsh, 1308 Creekside Drive; Mrs. Grace Hubbard, 605 State Street; Mrs. Bernie (Janet) Howe, Yuma, Arizona, and Mrs. James (Florence) Castator, Kouts.
Also surviving are four brothers, Robert Gatchel, 1576 Grand Street; James Gatchel, R. R. 3; Jack Gatchel, 256 E. Main Street; and Foster Gatchel Jr., 350 Wilson Street; four sisters, Mrs. Betty Cofer, Detroit, Michigan; Mrs. Loyd (Margaret) Meyer, 720 Manchester Avenue; Mrs. Fred (Jackie) Stackhouse, 201 Manchester Avenue, and Mrs. Richard (Shirley) Hobbs, R. R. 2; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Two sisters are deceased.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Garrett and Sloane Colonial Mortuary. The Rev. Marvin Parrish will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today at the funeral home.
