"Katie M. Bott, 75, died unexpectedly Saturday evening at her home, 786 Miami.
She was born Dec. 24, 1884, in Leavenworth County, a daughter of Peter and Rose Gast. She had been a lifetime resident of Leavenworth County and City. An April 4, 1903 in Leavenworth she was married to Ferd J. Bott. She was a member of the St. Joseph Carmelite Church, a member of the St. Joseph altar Society, and the L.C.B. A. Surviving are her husband, Ferd Bott of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Gonterwitz, 1428 Olive, and Mrs. John Fitch, Monahas, Tex.; one son Edward Bott of RR 1; one sister Mrs. Joseph Reindl, 1007 Olive; and one brother, Joseph Gast, Kansas City, Kan., eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced by the Sumpter Funeral Chapel."
