PAMPLICO -- Marion Gaskins Daniels, 91, widow of Glenn G. Daniel, died Monday, March 31, 2003, in a Florence hospital.

Mrs. Daniels was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late John Thomas Gaskins and the late Ada Prosser Gaskins. She was a homemaker, a member of Union Baptist Church, taught Adult Sunday School Class, was a faithful worker in Vacation Bible School, a retired member of the Adult Choir and was a graduate of J.C. Lynch High School.

Surviving are two brothers, James Wofford Gaskins of Norway and Harry Kent Gaskins of Pamplico; two sisters, Verda G. Evans of Florence and Johnis G. Allder of Purcellville, Va.; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday April 2, in Union Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive from 6 to 8 p.m. today friends at the funeral home.
