Teresa M. Garyantes, 52 of Milton passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 6, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Teresa was born in Wilmington, the daughter of Geraldine (Green) and the late James P. Garyantes. She graduated from Cape Henlopen High School in 1980 and worked for 13 years in office accounting for Walmart. She also worked part time for Royal Farms for two years. Teresa served as an assistant basketball coach for Lighthouse Christian School for a year and was a member of Bethel Tabernacle Church. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brothers, James Paul and Joseph P. Garyantes.
She is survived by her children, Heather and John Marowski, Jr. of Lewes; her mother, Geraldine Garyantes of Laurel; her brothers, Stephen P. Garyantes and his wife, Theresa of Rehoboth and James E. Garyantes of Lewes and her sisters, Jean Marie Shipley and her husband, Joseph of Laurel and Christin Perez and her husband, Louis of Willards, OH.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 12 Noon at the Bethel Tabernacle Church, 34180 Omar Road, Frankford, DE 19945, where friends may call after 10 AM. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Ashland, DE.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to either Bethel Tabernacle Church at the above address or Lighthouse Christian School, 28157 Lighthouse Crsg., Dagsboro, DE 19939.
